Robert from Springfield, MO has done his time and paid his debt to society. As a free man and a family man, he turned to Byrna to protect his family after discussing with his attorney and double-checking with local laws and regulations. His Catholic background and time served has taught him that ending a life isn't something he desires to do yet wanted to confirm a viable option would work for him.
Robert confesses that while in prison he was on the receiving end of various other less-lethal tools like a beanbag round and rock salt, but to put it in his words "I would much rather get hit with a taser any day than to get with this SD."

I believe every citizen has the right to bear arms, regardless of their disposition, without government interference. Our government has chosen to strip feelings of the right to protect themselves and their loved ones – even after completing the punishment for their crime. Less lethal is the perfect option for them. Give every American a fighting chance.

I carry mine all the time and feel confident when I walk anywhere.
I have not had to use it YET and God forbid I should ever !
Yet it gives me peace of mind knowing that if something would come down I have a tool that will afford me that extra few seconds to gain the upper hand .
I only wish here in California I would be able to carry it exposed this making anyone thinking of doing me harm to think twice .
