Nakestores Shipping Policy
Nakestores ships Byrna launchers, accessories, projectiles, CO2 cartridges and other eligible products from our Van Nuys, California operation. This policy explains order processing, shipping methods, free shipping, Hawaii and Alaska orders, Canada shipping, CO2 transportation, tracking, backorders and cancellations.
Product eligibility can vary by destination. For product-specific state and local restrictions, please review our Byrna Shipping Restrictions page.
Same-Day Shipping
Eligible in-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day are generally processed for shipment the same business day.
Orders placed after 2:00 PM Pacific Time, on weekends, on holidays, or orders requiring additional review will generally be processed on the next applicable business day.
Same-day shipping refers to order processing and carrier handoff. It does not mean same-day delivery.
Free Shipping on Orders Over $100
Nakestores offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders over $100 shipped within the lower 48 United States.
Orders under $100 will display applicable shipping charges during checkout.
Additional shipping charges may apply to orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other destinations outside the continental lower 48 states.
Applicable shipping charges are shown before the order is completed whenever available through checkout.
Where Does Nakestores Ship?
Lower 48 United States
Nakestores ships eligible products throughout the continental United States, subject to applicable product, state and local shipping restrictions.
Hawaii
Nakestores ships eligible Byrna products to Hawaii. Product restrictions, carrier limitations and additional shipping charges may apply depending on the products being ordered.
Alaska
Nakestores ships eligible products to Alaska. Shipping rates, product eligibility and available transportation methods may differ from shipments within the lower 48 states.
Puerto Rico & U.S. Territories
Shipping availability depends on the product, destination and available carrier service. Additional shipping charges and product restrictions may apply.
Important: The fact that Nakestores ships to a particular state or territory does not mean every product sold on Nakestores.com can be shipped to every address within that destination.

Shipping to Canada
Nakestores ships select eligible products to Canada. Not every product available on Nakestores.com can necessarily be shipped internationally.
Canadian customers are responsible for confirming that the products they order may be lawfully imported, possessed and used in their province or locality.
Canadian Customs, Duties, Taxes & Brokerage Fees
Canadian customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, carrier fees and any other charges imposed by Canadian authorities or shipping providers.
- Nakestores does not collect or prepay Canadian customs duties unless specifically shown at checkout.
- Nakestores does not reimburse customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges or other import-related fees.
- Canadian customs processing may delay delivery.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products can legally enter Canada and their specific province or municipality.
- Free U.S. return-shipping offers do not apply to Canadian orders.
CO2 Cartridges & Ground Shipping
Byrna CO2 cartridges contain compressed gas and are subject to carrier transportation requirements.
Orders containing CO2 cartridges are shipped using an eligible ground transportation service. Air transportation may not be available for orders containing compressed CO2.
If an order contains CO2 cartridges together with other products, the available shipping method for the entire order may be affected by the ground-shipping requirement.
Byrna Product Shipping Restrictions
Certain Byrna products may have shipping restrictions based on the destination, product type, state, county or municipality.
Restrictions may apply to products such as:
- Byrna chemical irritant projectiles
- Byrna Max projectiles
- Byrna Pepper products
- Certain sprays
- Less-lethal ammunition
- Body armor products
- Other regulated or destination-restricted products

Order Processing
After checkout, an order confirmation is sent to the email address provided with the order.
Before fulfillment, Nakestores may review:
- Product availability
- Shipping destination
- Applicable product restrictions
- Carrier requirements
- Ground-shipping requirements
- Other order information necessary for fulfillment
Orders requiring additional review may take longer to process.
Delivery Times
Delivery time varies depending on destination, shipping method, product type and carrier operations.
Domestic delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, Canada, ground-only shipments and remote destinations may require additional transit time.
Weather, holidays, carrier delays, customs processing and other events outside Nakestores' control may also affect delivery.
Order Tracking
When tracking information is available, it is provided after the order has been processed and shipped.
Once a package has been accepted by the carrier, customers should use the carrier's tracking information for the most current shipment and delivery status.
Shipping Address Requirements
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Please verify your address carefully before submitting your order.
Some products and shipping carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. A valid physical street address may be required depending on the product and carrier.
Address corrections after shipment may result in delays or additional carrier charges.
Out-of-Stock Items & Backorders
If an order contains both available and backordered products, Nakestores may ship the available items first and ship the remaining products when inventory becomes available.
Backordered products may ship separately at no additional standard shipping charge when applicable.
Customers may contact us to request that an order be held until all items are available for shipment together.
Order Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an order that has not yet shipped, contact Nakestores as quickly as possible.
You may use our Contact Us page or reply directly to your order-confirmation email.
We will make a reasonable effort to stop fulfillment, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
The following generally cannot be canceled once fulfillment has started:
- Orders already marked as shipped
- Special-order products
- Drop-shipped products
- Orders that have already entered carrier processing
If an order can no longer be canceled, eligible merchandise may still qualify for return under the applicable return policy.
Freight Forwarders & Customer-Arranged Export
For destinations not supported through standard Nakestores checkout, customers may choose to use an independent freight forwarder when legally permitted.
Once an order has been delivered to and accepted by a customer-selected freight forwarder, responsibility for subsequent transportation, export, customs clearance, import eligibility, duties, taxes and final delivery belongs to the customer and freight-forwarding provider.
Customers are responsible for confirming that products may legally be exported from the United States and imported into the final destination.
Returns & Shipping

Canadian and other international orders may not qualify for the same return-shipping benefits available to eligible domestic U.S. orders.
Carrier Delays & Events Outside Our Control
Nakestores is not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, accidents, strikes, civil disturbances, governmental actions, customs delays, carrier disruptions, transportation interruptions, power outages or other service interruptions.

Who pays customs duties and taxes for Canadian orders?
The customer is responsible for all Canadian customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and other charges imposed by Canadian authorities or carriers. Nakestores does not reimburse these charges.
Can Byrna CO2 cartridges be shipped?
Yes, where eligible. Orders containing compressed CO2 cartridges are shipped using an appropriate ground transportation service because compressed gas may be restricted from air transportation.
Does Nakestores ship every Byrna product to every state?
No. Product eligibility depends on the specific item and shipping destination. State and local restrictions may apply to certain Byrna products. Review the Byrna Shipping Restrictions page before ordering.
Can Nakestores ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Some products and carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. A physical street address may be required depending on the products ordered and the carrier used.
How do I track my Nakestores order?
Tracking information is provided when available after an order has been processed and shipped. Carrier tracking should be used for the most current shipment status.
