Outdoors with the Morgans recently posted a hands-on review of the Byrna less-lethal launcher. Their video walks through unboxing, basic operation, and family familiarization drills — the same practical steps we cover during our demos at Nakestores.
We sell only genuine Byrna products (SD, LE, CL) and, as a top Byrna dealer, we stand behind responsible ownership. Here are the straightforward takeaways we share with every customer:
What the review shows
-
Real handling and operation of the launcher, useful for first-time users.
-
Simple drills and controlled familiarization that help build safe, repeatable habits.
-
Emphasis on using a Byrna as part of a layered safety plan — awareness, avoidance, and de-escalation first.
Why some families choose a Byrna
-
Offers a less-lethal option that can deter or incapacitate without immediately using deadly force.
-
Straightforward operation that can be taught to authorized family members under proper supervision.
-
Expands defensive options in situations where lethal force would be disproportionate or legally risky.
Safety, training & legal reminders (what we tell customers)
-
Check the law: Local rules vary — confirm legality in your area before purchase.
-
Train with us: Nakestores provides free demos and hands-on training at our Van Nuys facility so owners can practice safely.
-
Store securely: Keep launchers locked, unloaded, and separate from projectiles and CO₂ cartridges.
-
De-escalate first: A Byrna supplements situational awareness and non-violent options — it’s not a substitute for good judgment.
Final word
The Outdoors with the Morgans review aligns with what we see: Byrna launchers are a useful, less-lethal tool when used responsibly and with training. If you want to see a Byrna in action, stop by Nakestores in Van Nuys for a free demo and hands-on instruction from our certified staff.

You bought 4 byrna’s and you don’t know where to go to get it fixed? How about going back to byrna with there warranty???

I have brought 4 Byrnas. I’m so disappointed because all my kids used their guns and then it was my turn. I shot and then my whole air cylinder emptied out. I tried again with a new cylinder and it emptied again. I don’t know where to go for a fix
